06 January 2015 wasted youth?
I think it is not too late to wish Happy New Year ae?
So here it goes. WELCOME 2015 to Lyana's lyfe.
Since i already in my second year of degree, there are many people said that I HAVE NO LIFE!
whut?
Actually I'm very thankful I spent my youth this way. Differ from the mainstream.
By mainstream I mean, those who are the same age with me are either spend their weekend at malls,eating at overpriced restaurants ((aka hipster cafe)) or travelling ((overseas mostly)). How do I know? Easy,instagram kan ado!
As for me,everything is totally different, for sure since I live in a rural area. For most of my weekends,I spent it with fieldtrips. Otherwise, I'll be spending it in the room,watching movies and such. I do go jalan-jalan,but not as much as others. Yalah,duit pun tak ado -,-'
Living there also gave me a HELL lot of experiences. By hell I mean those experiences were hell. e.g- water shortage selalu. Sometimes sampai.. paling kuat a week!
But yeah,experience is the best teacher,does not it?
I think by spending most of my time with nature ((i often went to jungle, merentas sungai, panjat bukit, masuk gua for fieldtrips purposes)) is not wasted at all. I have a better life this way ((well,at least I think)).
All those hardships I went through during my youth.
One day,I'm sure gonna tell my children about it.
